Lesnes Abbey

We've arrived at the historical high point of the walk, Lenses Abbey, with a history that dates back to 1178. In the distance, you have the ugly tower blocks of Thamesmead, allegedly one of the worst places to live in London. Somehow, I think it will be forgotten sooner than the abbey.
