Empty
Stands the clock at high noon
and will we be in Paris soon?
(with apologies to Rupert Brooke)
Turn around from yesterday's shot and you will be confronted by the abandoned Eurostar terminal. Not long ago this was your gateway to Europe, no matter when you looked, you found a hive of industry. Now it lies sad and empty. What's going to happen to it? It's going to be used for ordinary trains.

I agree, it seems a shame that it's out of use at the moment. Although I bet the rails won't be the right width for the current domestic trains, or some othe mismatch. :)
Nice heading ('Tell London, etc.')
SPI is a better gateway into London though: Bloomsbury.
Many visitors to London are of the intellectual variety and having the Uni, the Institutes and the Libraries, etc. practically on site is right up their street or streets.
(And they also eat and shop vociferously so that's OK.)
Now that we have HS1, and who knows what line upgrades are in the planning stage, this lovely Nick Grimshaw shed will I'm quite sure come into proper use again.
