January Theme Day - Changes

Shot with Olympus E500
The worldwide City Daily Photo theme for the 1st of January is "Changes". Really, that is the constant theme of this blog: recording a moment in time of the constant changes in the life and character of the city that is London. But, when cranes go up, they are for me the modern behemoth that herald change.

A very happy and healthy new year to you all.

Cranes can create change two ways - build or destroy.
Happy New Year and best wishes for 2010.
Cheers.

Good interpretation. Wishing you the best in 2010 and maybe we'll see the results from these cranes next year . . .

I hope the changes will be good. But at any rate, it is a wonderful - and somewhat alarming - photograph!

Best wishes for 2010,

Cranes in London, definitely a herald of change. We were amazed at the number of cranes visible from the South Bank during our last visit.
