February Theme Day - Wood

Without the time to take any photos, I was a little constrained to join in this month's worldwide City Daily Photo theme day. In the end, I chose an image of one of the treasures in London's British Museum. The thing that caught my eye with this carving is the way the carftsmanship and the patina of the wood transform the object and bring it alive. Thankfully, from the look of it, not too alive.
