Memento Mori
You never knew him, he was a work colleague of mine, a friend. Dependable, helpful, one of the good guys. At least ten years younger than me with a wife, children and family. Yesterday he went to sleep, and never woke up.
The photo is from one of London's Victorian cemeteries, from an age when they thought appearances were all important.
In the words of someone much older and wiser than I - there is never a right time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. A reminder to live every day and say what needs to be said.
I echo the above comment. We must all be so grateful for what we have
Although no words of sympathy can ease the loss you bear,
Still may you find some comfort in the thought that others care.
So very sorry for your loss.
