Falun Dafa Day

Over the weekend I saw these Falun Gong practitioners by Trafalgar Square, drawing attention to their cause and the oppression of their movement by the Chinese Government. When I looked into their history, I was surprised to learn that the movement only began in 1992 . Does that make it better or worse?
