The Shard Takes Its Place
It is interesting to see London's skyline change from places such as this vantage point in Waltham Forest. The Shard is more clearly taking its prominence here than is visible when you are closer.

post a commentHam, have you noticed that if you are walking along the northern embankment the Shard always seems just, across and downstream. Then you walk on and it is still just across and downstream. Hard to work out when you are, say, in Westminster that it is a long way away. Presumably that is because of the way the Thames weaves.
