At a loose end? Nothing loose here

It's the end of the summer and the Thames Festival time again, I would really recommend a visit. This year, there seem to be far more craft and small business stalls. Oh yes, and one or two people, too. I'll show some other photos over the next days for thise that can't make it.

Oh my that is a squishy crowd, love the lady in the front's red hair with flower.

There was some kind of a theme with fake flowers and chaplets as well as strange straw head-gears.

Shortest and best fireworks display I ever saw. In the States ours run about 20 to 30 minutes, and average about 6-8 shells a minute, with a big 1 or 2 minute "finale" where they light off everything in the box. The Thames fest ran about 9 minutes, but it must have been 40-50 shells a minute, plus a bunch of fountains and roman candles doing dances off the deck of the barge(s). Add being able to stand about 100 feet away on Southbank and it was spectacular!

But the food truck charging more than £4 for a Taco was a criminal enterprise.
