Waymarks
The walk I did was part of the Green Chain, walks 2 & 3. I found this waymarker at the start, and thought that they might continue throughout, but the rest are just signposts.

post a commentI don't really get what that is supposed to be. I mean, I know that it's some kind of statue... Is it made of recycled material or something?
It is a signpost on a footpath. It would originally have been blue, as it was sponsored by a bank with blue as a corporate colour, but some enterprising soul took it uppon themselves to turn the star silver.
