Local Library



Not strictly London, as this is in a Hertfordshire village outside the M25, but I thought you might enjoy seeing the use to which a telephone box has been put.

What a brilliant idea... Do you know "how" it works? You just pop in and pick a book and when you've read it just put it back?
I'd like a similar "project" in Paris!

Oh! What a brilliant idea! I've seen a few of these old phone boxes being used like this around the UK... and now this is the 3rd one (I think) that I've seen a photo of! Yay!

That door handle has been put back on the wrong way up. It should tempt the left hand to open the door, not the right.

Theres' one in Christchurch, New Zealand. Its' a commercial fridge. The site was a cafe, but was earthquake damaged.
