The Saucer Has Landed

I was quite surprised to come across the new futuristic entrance to Kings Cross Station, this is the one you would use to get to St Pancras International.

It's been a while, but I'm just surprised to find any kind of entrance to King's Cross, never mind one without construction barriers. a minefield of torn up walk, and signs that send you into a labyrinth of hallways wide enough for one person - but supporting two-way traffic.

It reminded me of a song by Caetano Veloso called London London: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3Xngs4VuoU&feature=related

Such a beautiful train station. I visited a few months ago. Wouldn't expect such a modern addition to such a classial station. Looks good though!
