Pop Up Art
Just in time for the Olympics, there are pieces of public art popping up all over the place. You wouldn't guess that this was Bow, would you? I'm sure it's better than nothing (actually, I'm not) but it does smack of desperation - "Quick lets get some Art here" On the subject is there any other word as short that is so well used with such disparate meanings? Bow: A knot, bending from the waist, front of a ship, a weapon/used to make sound on strings, a place. More meanings than letters.

Pat. Many different meanings - touch quickly with flat hand, in exactly the right way, a pat of butter, molding by tapping with the hand, & more.
(actually, I'm not)
You made me laugh. London must be an interesting place to be right now, if a bit frantic.
Looks like a new skate spot to me.
The word 'set' has the most definitions of amy word in the English language: 32.
The O balanced on the W looks a bit like an upside-down version of the NATO map symbol for parachute artillery! (a mortar, as the circle is not solid)
Is this intended to be permanent?
No doubt the finishing touches. I hope to be there for some of the Olympics. Will be interesting to see how much "pop up" art is about. Great post.
