Flying the Flag
On the day Team GB exceeded their medal total four years ago and proved the value of investment in sport, I reflect on the way it feels good when your country wins. Whatever the payload of jingoism, let's just enjoy the moment while we can.

Or in my own country, I remember the University of Washington Husky Crew who beat the pride of Nazy Germany in 1936.
I congratulate all the smaller, less well funded countries, simply for taking part. More important than winning any medals ;-)
Yes, be a sport. If you lose, there still next times to do better and raise the flag as champions.
