Irony
The Eastern Dispensary - founded 1782, erected 1858, supported by voluntary contributions - is now a bar, supported by voluntary contributions.
Oh yes, that's another building going up in the background.
We need modern buildings but they may kill the heritage of the old ones. It is a balancing act. Society as a whole should decide where they want their cities to go. But if a building does not have much history then it should give way for modern ones otherwise cities will be full of useless relics.
