Irony



The Eastern Dispensary - founded 1782, erected 1858, supported by voluntary contributions - is now a bar, supported by voluntary contributions.

Oh yes, that's another building going up in the background.

  1. We need modern buildings but they may kill the heritage of the old ones. It is a balancing act. Society as a whole should decide where they want their cities to go. But if a building does not have much history then it should give way for modern ones otherwise cities will be full of useless relics.
