Frolicking

Shot with Olympus E520
Hyde Park is conveniently large for dropping the odd fountain or statue without noticing too much. I confess, I must have passed by this one by Grosvenor Street many time over the years, without noticing.

Long Water

Shot with Olympus E520
The Way We See It this week took me to Long Water, a pretty neglected bit of the Serpentine, near Ladbroke Grove Lancaster Gate, that's well worth the shoe leather to wander. For a park in the heart of a city, it has a very country like feel.

Wellington's Camp

Shot with Olympus E520
The Wellington Statue sits opposite No.1 London, Wellington's house. For those for whom English is not their first language, you may have missed the double entendre - which is probably all to the good. Let's just say the title jumped into my head as I approached the statue from this direction. Gave me a good laugh, anyway. I suppose it must have been a heroic pose once, but maybe not. See a wider view of the monument here.
